ขั้นตอนการ Migrate On-Premise Workload ขึ้น Azure

การ Migrate Workload จาก On-Premises ไปยัง Azure เป็นกระบวนการที่ช่วยให้ระบบ IT ขององค์กรย้ายไปใช้ Cloud Computing ซึ่งช่วยเพิ่มความยืดหยุ่น ลดต้นทุนด้านโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน และเพิ่มความปลอดภัย

🔹 ขั้นตอนการ Migrate On-Premises ไปยัง Azure

🔸 1. ประเมินและวางแผน (Assessment & Planning)

✅ กำหนดเป้าหมายของการ Migrate → ย้ายทั้งหมด หรือย้ายบางส่วน

✅ ประเมิน Workload ที่ต้องการ Migrate เช่น

• Virtual Machines (VMs)

• Database (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL)

• Applications (Web, APIs, SAP)

• File Servers และ Storage

✅ วิเคราะห์ความเข้ากันได้ของแอปพลิเคชันกับ Azure

✅ คำนวณค่าใช้จ่ายล่วงหน้า → ใช้ Azure Pricing Calculator

🔸 2. เลือกกลยุทธ์การ Migrate

มี 5 กลยุทธ์หลัก (5 R’s Migration Strategy)

วิธีการ Migrate	รายละเอียด	ตัวอย่างการใช้งาน
Rehost (Lift-and-Shift)	ย้ายระบบขึ้น Azure โดยไม่เปลี่ยนแปลงโครงสร้าง	Migrate VMware/Physical Server ไป Azure VM
Refactor (Repackage)	ปรับแต่งบางส่วนเพื่อใช้ประโยชน์จาก Azure Services	ย้าย Database จาก SQL Server On-Prem ไป Azure SQL
Rearchitect	ปรับปรุงโครงสร้างใหม่ให้เหมาะสมกับ Cloud	เปลี่ยนจาก Monolithic App ไปเป็น Microservices บน Azure Kubernetes
Rebuild	สร้างแอปใหม่บน Cloud	พัฒนา Web App ใหม่บน Azure App Service
Replace	เปลี่ยนไปใช้ SaaS หรือ PaaS แทน On-Prem System	ใช้ Microsoft 365 แทน Exchange Server

🔸 3. ใช้เครื่องมือสำหรับ Migrate (Migration Tools)

🔹 Azure Migrate → ใช้ประเมินและ Migrate VM, Database, และ Apps

🔹 Azure Site Recovery (ASR) → ใช้ Migrate VM แบบ Replication

🔹 Azure Database Migration Service (DMS) → ย้าย Database

🔹 Azure Files & Storage Migration → ใช้ Azure Storage Account

🔸 4. ดำเนินการ Migration (Execution & Testing)

✅ ติดตั้ง Azure Migrate Appliance บน On-Prem Server

✅ ทำ Discovery & Assessment เพื่อระบุ Workload ที่จะย้าย

✅ ตั้งค่า Migration Plan และเลือก Azure Services ที่เหมาะสม

✅ เริ่มการ Replicate ข้อมูลจาก On-Prem ไปยัง Azure

✅ ทำการทดสอบ Failover ก่อน Cutover

🔸 5. Cutover และ Optimize Azure Environment

✅ Shutdown ระบบ On-Prem (ถ้าไม่มีแผนใช้งานต่อ)

✅ ตั้งค่า Load Balancer, Firewall, และ Security บน Azure

✅ ใช้ Azure Monitor และ Log Analytics เพื่อติดตามประสิทธิภาพ

✅ Optimize ค่าใช้จ่าย → เลือก VM Size และ Azure Reserved Instances
